“You can tell a lot about a person from their biography…”

- Phil Dunphy, Modern Family

From Hong Kong and Shanghai to LA and Pittsburgh, I’ve called a fair few places home. My experiences in each of these cities have shaped me into the designer I am today - thoughtful, analytical, and constantly considering the bigger picture. I grew up fascinated with human behavior, so it was a no-brainer to study Psychology in college (pun intended). Simultaneously, I found myself constantly drawn to the world of design and started to dabble in it on my own time. I eventually chose to combine my interests and study Human-Computer Interaction at Carnegie Mellon.

In my free time, I love to pet my cat, make art, play softball, and DIY furniture. I grew up loving to dance, but when my family moved to Shanghai, far away from any dance studios, I started to teach myself dance through YouTube videos. I later did 20 hours a week of dance in college and even got to dance at the 2022 Superbowl Halftime show! I’m currently teaching myself how to: speak Spanish, illustrate on Procreate, and figure skate.
